“My work explores the human body as a site of motion and memory. The frame is reduced to essential lines and shadows, each mark hides the illusion of the shape to prove its existence. Marks carry reflection, or rhythm of gesture, strokes echo the movement beyond the page. The marks I make become the trace of a lived experience and the presence of beauty and vulnerability”.
Most of my life drawings are on mid-tone paper or Hahnemuhle or Canson velvet pastel papers. This enables me to build up layers of pastel material and give the drawing a rich texture.
Art for sale on this page is between £35 and £75. Shipping is additional.

Most drawings can be shipped rolled in a tube or sent flat sandwiched. Each pastel piece will be sprayed with a fixative for protection.
